Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) HELP! Truck runs worse with bigger injectors

I think it's fixed!

Dave's Diesel in Muncie diagnosed my problem as a bad injection pump soleniod and as a result put in a brand new pump - no recon. They said the solenoid was powering on and off erratically - something they had never seen before. My truck runs better than it has in a long time and it seems to have a little more power! Thanks to Randy and Jim at Dave's for getting me in at the last minute and getting it fixed!

I had a very noticable miss at idle through about 1400 rpm. it was missing above that, but the miss became less noticable the faster the engine ran. It ran worst at around 1100 rpm.

you should replace the washer every time

you should use a torque wrench every time
