O. K. , today when I was slowing down from about 70MPH to a dead stop... . At about 25 MPH my truck started to shack and shutter (Felt like the rear wheels were locking up). Then the engine died..... Waited about 30 seconds and started it up, and it drove fine. Checked codes with my Smarty, and it showed two (P0700 & P0122). I know what both of them are. I drove another 10-12 miles and then it happened again when I was slowing down for a red light. This time the engine did not shut down.

I know the APP sensor code is PO122 and the P0700 code is for the trans. I have had the P0700 on and off since I installed my "New" Built Trans. All is good on that I think? On the other hand the P0122 concerns me. This code makes no sense..... My issues have nothing to do with a lack of power... ... ...

Any ideas... PLEASE! :confused: :{

Sounds like the torque converter failed to unlock. Or possibly a downshift problem in the transmission.

Just a guess.

I Agree with that. It might just be a bad wire or loose connection. Or tc is starting to fail. I would lean more towards the wireing though

I agree, my gut is telling me that this is all trans related. It makes me mad too... . I just dropped $5,000 on my "NEW" trans 7,000 mileas ago. The guy that built it is cool, he will fix it if it is trans related. However, is it possible the PPS is bad?

Torque converter failed to unlock. I have a Torque lock box that will do just what you described if I space out and forget to unlock it when stopping. It can be kind of violent.

UPDATE: I just got my truck back from the trans shop... . I had a torque converter failer. They got me a new one and went through the trans. The truck dive O. K. now. I should also note that i just replace my Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) as well, since I was getting the P0122 code.

However, I am still getting the same P0122 code... . Now what!?!
