matt i don't think the beetles have the same style as golfs and jettas. . ha. . the golf jetta style pop out and fold down and are prone to breaking they weren't meant for larger or heavy drinks and franklty i told ann marie not to use thm when we go the car as to not braek them... they are very prone to breaking ha

The New Beetle's cup holders are semi-indestructible..... but they're useless for any thing but a 12-oz. aluminium can of "whatever floats your boat".



They don't fold out or anything - they're just in a really nasty spot between the 4-way switch/flasher panel, the transmission shift lever, and the center console.
