Got in the Truck this morning backed out and water started dripping off the drivers side visor bracket near the rear view mirror. I have clearence lights and I was wondering if any on has had water leaking thru where the lights go thru the cab

Mine leak also. Supposedly there is a fix. There are newer light covers that have the screw on the from and the back rather than on the sides. Haven't tried it so I don't know if it helps.

I had that problem on my 2003 last month. The water was dripping from the windshield center mount info computer. I removed and re-sealed all of the clearance lights which fixed the leak. Be sure to add a dab of sealant to the screws as well where they go into the light itself. While I had the lights off I also replaced all the bulbs. Although none were burnt out yet, most were heavily blackened.

Thanks I talked to the dealer there are new lights to fix the problem, there is a tech report out on it. The new light have a different profile so you have to get all 5 plus bolts... $122. 00#@$%!

I had this same problem happen a few months ago, and that sounds like way too much money. All I needed was five new light lenses, part number 55077559AD. They cost me $6. 35 each for a total of $31. 75. The lenses included the new mounting screws and plastic washers already installed in them. The inserts in the roof of the truck that the mounting screws go into should be fine unless they have been overtightened a bunch. Basically the new light lenses are a direct replacement for the old ones (assuming you have factory installed cab lights), but they have a rubber seal on the bottom of them instead of the foam that the old ones came with.
