Installing a Fuel pressure gauge and trying to figure out which bolt to replace with banjo bolt... There are 2 lines going into the back of the 6. 7L filter housing... . I am assuming one is a return line to tank maybe...

For those that are wondering why i am putting it before the filter housing is cause the injection pump doesn't have a normal banjo like the 5. 9's:{.

The one on the left is the supply line from the tank to the fuel filter. The one on the right is the return line. The line coming into the top of the banjo fitting on the right is the fuel return from the injectors.

BTW, whose step bars do you have on your truck. They look like what I'm looking for for my truck.

Thanks for the help... So i wanna replace the bolt in red with a banjo for the fuel pressure sensor?

They are chrome wheel to wheel Iron cross steps that i had sprayed with Bed-liner(line-X), cause they didn't look very good after one winter.

The one in red would be the pressure line from the in tank pump. As far as which side of the filter you want to take the reading from I can't say for sure. I don't have FP on my truck yet. Going before the filter would tell you if you have good pressure to the filter but after the filter would let you know what you are actualy seeing at the High Pressure pump. Maybe someone else will chime in and let us know which is the prefered reading.

On all my other trucks i took the reading right at the injection pump but those were all 5. 9's.

On these 6. 7's they have some weird connections coming out of the filter and going into the injection pump...

Thats the connections at the pump... Here's what the connections look like coming out the front of the fuel filter... Makes it hard to put sensor there... . Anyone have any ideas?
