RossA,

I would go with the Super Phat Shaft 64 with your mods. If I can answer any questions feel free to phone. 800-893-1059

i run the 66 (sled puller) with mach 6's and a comp... . it get's hot quick!!! and even at WOT it still will not cool it down,... i am thinking on up-dating to a prostreet 66 to see if it will help.

What don't you like about the Prostreet 66 on the street setup? I see your from vancouver? Are you at altitutde? We have a truck that daily drives with BD8's, super tight convertor, and has the prostreet 66. He runs his comp on 1x1 for daily driving. He also recently just put on an II HRVP. Only complaint he has is on 90+ degree days and high humidity is excess smoke. He manually shifts the transmission when he is in high dollar residential districts. If you run a looser convertor I am doubt that you will have an issue.

Dont get me wrong! It is an awsome charger, but around town bombing around you cant get on it without smoke. I had to learn how to drive my truck to not get smoke. (manually shifting)This charger does not like fuel under 2000 rpm, but when it lights ,hang on theres no smoke and it will take all the fuel you can throw at it . If you wanna spank a ricer at the lights you have to put it in 4x4 and spoolit up to about 1900 rpm . Mean while behind you and around you people are looking at you like your some kind of redneck freak. You launch and have three lengths on them before they know what happened. :-laf So basicly its all or nothen. Its the meanest of the singles :D

what altitude do you live at? Tight convertor? One thing to try is run the sublevel on the comp(I know everyone knows that this reduces fuel), you might be surprised that a lower sublevel may not result in less power. You can dump too much fuel to a diesel and you can flood it out. That is why the AFC on the 12V is so crucial to the tuning. On trucks with smaller injectors and smaller chargers this isn't that big of deal. I have seen my truck sit at the line and literally no RPM increase, until I let off of the throttle. I was putting too much fuel to the truck trying to build boost. Most of the tuners know this, so whoever knows this don't think I am preaching rocket science. I just figured noone ever told me this, stumbled on it on my own, and so many people think that smoke is power. Smoke can be power, but just because you have smoke, doesn't mean your making power.

Personally I really like the 66's, if you have a goerend brothers convertor, he will help you get the stall speed right. Granted it costs shipping, a little fee, and about 4 hours swapping a transmission. Once you get yoru convertor, turbo, and fueling set, you will be all smiles. :-laf

I totally agree ,have tried all the comp levels and have tryed 3 converters, finally ended up with a dunrite 89% and i love the combo. I am at sea level. I too learned about over fueling at spoolup. With this turbo and big sticks you have to put your foot down a little slower. Especialy if your spooling it at the light. I drive my comp around on 3x1. I can drive it with no smoke.

Does anyone know what size wheels the BD super B has on it? I have posted this question before and nobody seems to know. I have been on BD's forum and they are very tight with technical info there. All I know about it is like most others its based off an s300 frame. Was wondering the same thing about there new super B "Special".

How is your super b on low end?? I'm fighting lag issues with mine. :{

yeah i am kinda leaning towards a 66/14. i am haveing way to many issues with my egts right now and i really want the top end power. either way i am going with a 66 or 64 .

When I ordered my dragon flow injectors from Brady @ II... He & I talked about turbos for a hour & Brady said that 62 super turbos out flow phat shaft 64 & he has the dyno sheets to prove it. I think the turbo for you would be a super 64. If the 62 super out flows a 64... Then wouldn't a super 64 outflow a 66. I know when I had a 64/14 & switched to a 62/12... I saw a drop in egt's 200* easy. I switched to a 62 super & dropped another 200* wot. The best way to cool a engines egt is to stay ahead of heat by getting good flow & fast boost. I think that a super 64 would be best because you would spool faster than a 66 & if I'm not mistaken it should outflow it too. Most people think that a larger compressor is the key to low egt's, but getting heat out while making boost is the answer. I've done alot of research on this & after 5 turbo changes... I think I figured it out.
