Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) HELP will not start

I was driving to lunch in my 98. 5 24v 3500 4x4 and the truck shut off for a split second and started going again. It did this about three times and then it shut off. The check engine light is not on but the wait to start light is blinking on and off. I haven't checked fuel pressure but it has a new vp and pusher pump its has about 5,000 on it the truck has 139,000.

do you have a fuel pressure guage???

There is no fuel pressure and i have a pusher pump that is hooked up to the stock lift pump. I checked fuel pressure last week it was 28-30 psi at the top of the filter housing. I used a test light at the stock harness and there was no power when the key was on, even when I bumped the starter.

power the pumps off the battery to see if they work??? then at least for the time being you can get the truck running with a fused system and switch, as long as the problem is the oem wiring to the fuel pumps---possible that the pcm is messing with you---also have you checked all fuses??? electrical probs are a pain to diagnose ... . chris
