This probably has been answered before. All day yesterday the temp was form 3 above to minus 7. The cooling fan would not stop ruing the entire time, the engine and the interior would not warm up. The fan operated properly wen I started the truck that mornig but after a one hour drive time and shutdown the fan came on and never shut off! All day we drove in city traffic it would warm up alittel then cool way down. We then drove home one hour at speeds vareing between 35 and 65, the temp was now abought -7,and the fan would not stop.

When we got home I opened the hood and felt of the hose it was very cool the radiator tanks were only sclitely warm also the core was warm only abought 1/3 the way across and the rest was VERY VERY cold, the truck was still ruining !!! :( :{

Has this happened to anyone before and what did you do to fix it or dose the fan clutch need to be replaced???? Thanks in advance!!!!! :)

The thermostat controls the temperature of the engine coolant. The temperature of the coolant provides heat to the interior of the truck. If the engine runs cold I would think the thermostat is your problem.
