for starters, and on the cheap, bump your stock fuel plate full forward and crank the star wheel about 15 or so clicks forward (away from cab). You'll get some smoke then, but not tons. For a lot of smoke, go with a new fuel plate, like 11 or 10 and then get ready.
Smoking costs money. Both at the filling station and under the hood. When/if you go with a new plate, you'll want gauges to know what you are doing e. g. running too hot... So, becareful of what you do, it can be a neverending process (so I'm told)...
