Help with codes

I took my truck to the dealer last week for reflash 18-007-04. Now when I checked for codes, the cluster test when the tach and the spedo and all the dash lights light up, it throws codes a7-34 and AA-34?

I have the service manual but cant find what section the codes are listed in.

A7 VIN checksum error.

AA PCM messages not received.



Both of these occurred 34 ignition cycles ago.

Those codes are found under Instrument Cluster part of the shop manual. First two digits are the error and the second two are the number of times the ign key has been cycled on after the error. "A7" is VIN checksum error while "AA" is PCM messages not received. These are per 2004 shop manual.

After flashing,you need to erase codes caused by the flashing process also on 3rd Gens you have to re-enter the vin in the ECM.

Leave it to the dealer to mess things up. I turned the key on and off 60 some times. The codes are no more. Somthing to do with the reflash i guess.
