Yesterday, while detailing the engine compartment on my 2004, I disconnected the sensor on top of the air filter box. I mistakenly started the engine before reconnecting the plug. Now the check engine light will not go out, and I'm getting two codes: P0107 and P0073. What do these codes indicate? Is there any way to reset the check engine light without a trip to the dealer? Thanks for your help.

P0073 Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit High

P0107 Manifold Absolute Pressure [MAP] Sensor Circuit Low Voltage

I had the same codes show up for the same reason. Started the engine while installing gauges without the sensor plugged into the Air Intake Box.

The Check Engine light went off after disconnecting batteries for 15 minutes and a few restarts with sensor connected. The codes cleared themselves after a number of start/drive sequences. Not sure exactly how many start/stops it took for them to clear. The codes are ones that can be cleared by Autozone's OBDII scanner or any OBDII scanner.

I believe it's 40 consecutive warmup cycles before the code will clear. "warmup" means coolant temperature starts below 140 and warms up above 160.

It won't hurt anything to just wait for them to clear on their own.

Any idea on what would have caused this code

P 0630 - VIN not programmed in PCM

Not sure when it showed up. I had the fuel economy reflash done then put my TST back on. The code was not there before with just the TST. Any ideas?
