Help with engine codes please

I have my first '05 diesel, 3. 73 automatic.



My malfunction indicator light came on and I got codes

P2607 Intake Air Heater Relay 2 Low

and P0071 - Ambient Temp Sensor performance/rationality.



Can anyone tell me if these are serious? I am 2000 miles from home, towing a 13k trailer. Is my truck about to "die"?



I am totally lost. PLease advise.

I don't have an '05 service manual, so I can't break those codes down further for you. However, I would say neither one will strand you. And I doubt the truck is about to die.



Do you have a performance box of some kind?

Totally stock, but guaged.

I wouldn't worry about it. At least, try not to worry about it. If the entire intake heater system malfunctions the truck is still completely driveable. I think it can wait until you get home.
