Help with exhaust popping?

first time posting on TDR..... Need some help with what sounds like a backfire out the exhaust, only happens when coasting and lightly pressing the throttle, some times multiple times in a row. has been happening for the last 3 months, tried different fuel, new filter, additives.

Well on a gasser we would say a valve Maybe... .

Spend 10 bucks and get the bypass plugs for the TST. You can order from them direct. If it stops, then send your box in for a re-flash. If it doesn't stop, then take out the EZ.



If it still does it, then remove the TST harness.



If it still does it, then take your "stock" truck to the dealer and report the problem to them. Hopefully they'll find the problem.

your truck is "bursting" the TST is holding an injector open too long. I actually took mine to TST to help them Diagnose the problem. There is a flash to correct this.

Just contacted TST, they are sending me the bypass plug and said that i do need a reflash to solve this problem..... thanks for the help!
