This past Saturday I put an Edge EZ on my truck and it ran great, then Sun. about a ¼ mile from my house my truck stalled with the EZ on level 2, but fired right back up and ran fine on 2 the rest of the night, then Mon. it stalled just out of my driveway and again 4 miles away both times I was on level 2, I put in on level 1 and it was alright the rest of the day. Then yesterday it stalled twice within a mile from my house, I checked for codes and got P0602 and P2509.

I called edge and they said to take it off for a couple days and see if I could duplicate the problem. I took it off when I got home last night and this morning it stalled again at the end of my driveway and once down the road going about 50mph, but it stalled and started by itself this time.

Could this be because the codes are still in the computer I’m going to get an OBD-II reader soon so I can clear these codes, any suggestions on which code reader to get?

Please help I only have 26,000 on the truck and this is my first computer bomb and so far it’s left me a little skittish for future mods.

Sorry for the lenghty post. . Thanks for any help.

Looking at the codes it looks like you have an ECM issue. Other more knowledgable members will chime in soon with better advice. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I want my baby back strong and healthy like it was before so please help me guys. :{

I bought the Equus # 3110 CanOBD2 and it has worked very well. :D

It's now been 2 days without the EZ, I still get a little better mpg's and my boost hit 34 psi going uphill (a little high for stock). It's almost like my ecm still thinks the EZ is connected to it.

Please guys give me some advice, I'm trying to keep replying to this to keep it on the first page of the forum.

Thanks again

I went with the actron 9145 code reader, plugged it in and it reads 2 p2509 codes and no p0602, but the odometer says both. I tried to erase them but apparently it will only clear codes after they've been fixied.

I also called Edge again and they were no help, they said I might need to get the ecm reflashed. They swore the EZ didn't do it because it still acted up with the EZ off.

200+ views of this post and no thoughts on whats going on. I'm dissapointed usually TDR has more info than I can handle.

Please give me some suggestions on what to do or the best way to hide the EZ from the dealer at least.

I'd have to agree.

It's been off since I first talked to edge. I think I'll go in asking for some TSB updates that some of the guys on here seem to like and tell them it's stalling too, and maybe get it fixed and updated.

Thanks for the replys guys.

I just got tit back from the dealer, and it's all fixed :D . They did flash the ecm with a few TSB's they are:

TSB 18-007-04 - White Smoke, Engine Stumble/Misfire, or Flat Spot in Engine Performance

TSB 18-033-04 - Generic Cummins Engine Control Module (ECM) Procedure

TSB 18-017-05 - Haven't found what it was for yet any clues?

TSB 18-037-04 - Flash: Fuel Economy,White Smoke, Console MPG Accuracy (my request :) )

it was luckily all covered by warranty. Hope this helps anyone who encounters this problem, although from the responses it sounds like it's a rare one.
