Help with Fass Fuel Pump

I am tired of these lift pumps going out. I have been looking into Fass fuel pump. I really don't know which one i need. How hard is it to install. What other parts will i need or does the kit come with everything. Does it make a difference that the dealership installed an in tank fuel pump.

Its not a hard install - just takes some time. I welded a custom bracket on my 150 to pull it up farther under the truck. There is only one thing I don't like about it and the same complaint probably applies to most of the aftermarket pumps that us a separate pickup tube. Fuel slosh - When I get to a 1/4 tank the fuel will slosh to the front of the tank during breaking and I get a momentary period when it is sucking air and fuel pressure drops. As long as I don't let it get to 1/4 tank it is fine. It seems we need much better baffles in these tanks. Outside of that one complaint, it holds pressure @ 15 PSI and so far has worked flawlessly.

FASS 95/95-1008 would be best for your year truck if you want a FASS. BUT you would have to get a STK-1001 kit separately. OR find a stock in-tank module that came factory in your year truck (eBay).



OR if you want a kit to work 100% with the in-tank pump conversion you could just use anything for a 2005+ truck... . harness will work and comes with a suction tube kit.



FASS 95/95-1007 would work with no extra parts if you have the in-tank conversion.

Get a FASS with the filters for sure. We've never had trouble with lift pumps. We just put on a FASS and forget about it. More power better milage less hassle.

HAHA... well all thoes things you mentioned have nothing to do with fuel... . but you have to have fuel to make use of them so i assuem you are going to upgrade something on that end.



I have seen a 95 GPH fuel just fine to 600 HP.....



Edit: Just saw your sig..... yeah... you should be good. If you are not going to look at dual CP3's or anthing..... you are fine with the 95 GPH.
