Here you go Carl.

You can crop the pic's down to size in the Paint program in Windows. Go start>program>accessories>Paint.

When you get the Paint program open. Click on the "File" button then go to "Open". Find the location of the pic on your computer. After you have the pic open in Paint. Then click on "Image" then "attributes" . Set width and height to about 300 x 300. Then save to a folder somewhere of you choosing. Then attach here as you see fit.

Hey Philip, thanks :) I guess I don't know what I'm doing tho or sumthin cause when I do that it cuts out most of the picture... guess i'll have to fiddle around with some of them there tabs an checkmarks lol

I've been having the same problem, every time I try to post a picture it says the file is too large. I can't figure it out. I can't crop any more off the pics or the truck will be cut into. Any suggestions?

Some graphics programs will let you resize the picture on a percentage basis. Look at the software you have and see if that is an option... .

If not you are welcome to send them to me and I'll resize them, then send them back so they will catch for you...

pb... .

Carl,

I had trouble with this for a long time and Philip and the wife FINALLY got me straightened out. Something three years worth of phyciatric treatment could not do.

I resize my pictures in "paint" I use the "streatch/scew" and downsize them there. It's in % so I set then about 60 to 70% and load them into the computer file. Then I do the manage attatchments thing when posting the pics with a tread reply and it will bring them up.

OK, so I can't explain it well. Sorry.

The re-sizing of the pictures worked. Since these were taken I've put new springs in the front of the dually to make it level, and taken the cap off. It's now got a Weatherguard diamond plate tool box. Unfortunately I had to sell the blue '90 but figured I would post the pic anyway.

BHiggins,

What a magnificent rig!!!

What springs did you put on the front? I've heard Moog 7226s, but everyone that used them has a 250. Was this your choice? Thanks.

I went to the local spring shop and had two leafs added to the existing spring packs. It didn't do much for the ride, but it's level. It killed me to sell the "old girl" (1990 blue 1st gen), but couldn't afford to keep both... the dually stayed. The blue truck had 300K on the CTD when I sold it, and it still got 17 MPG, burned no oil, and ALWAYS started with the first tap of the key. The black dually I picked up last year with 72,000 original miles! Right place, right time, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for the compliment!

Thanks for the compliment... I sure want to find a dually like yours... that is awesome! Is it all original?

The only mods done are: Detroit Locker out back, 4" turbo back exhaust (no muffler), front and rear spring work (2. 5 inches), and a 550 watt Pioneer stereo. The truck came with a ton of options: cruise, a/c, tilt, power mirrors, power windows & locks, captain's bucket seats, you name it it's got it. As stated earlier, I bought it last year (you would cry if I told you how much I "stole" the truck for) with 72,000 miles. Let's just say that for what I paid, I wish I could have bought two!

Took me awhile, but here's a couple pics

A little late as usual-I was late being born, late for my wedding and chances are I'll even be late for my funeral. But hey, at least im consistent ;)

Wow that looks really good! Except for all the cold white stuff on the ground!! Edit: tell your body man he put your emblems back in the wrong place, they should be up higher.

I LUV IT

Carl,

I had the bottom of my truck painted from the molding down for 600. 00 To do the ENTIRE truck, was quoted at 4,000. 00 :{ So, I polished and waxed it three times and it looks pretty darn good. Thank-goodness the entire truck was painted some years ago before I bought it. ! :)

Looking good bro. WORD!!!!
