Competition Help with pulling truck set up ?

Hi I am not new to pulling but I am new to competitive pulling. There is a new 'Pro Street' class here in Central Ontario. Rules are simple. http://hotroddiesel.ca/8000_lbs_pro_street_diesel_class.htm

My question is , how would you set up an 01 3500 ETH DEE 3. 54 4x4 with a fass system, edge comp, afe intake, 4" exhaust and X monitor. Should I will lose the rear duals and run some bigger ( wider ) singles in the rear? Will I have enough reduction on the low side of the T-case with the 6speed and 3. 54's ? I am thinking of a PDR turbo and injectors and when the clutch finally gives up go with a South Bend. Any help from experianced pullers would be appreicated.

Whats the deal with "no slipper clutches" sort of defeats the purpose of pulling with a manual.

Heath at hotrod diesel just did the O-ring on the head for me last week.

i was thinking on going to the pulls on July 1st weekend, i would like to try it my self !

Hey G Man what did it cost to O ring and stud the head ? I want to have some fun but I'm not going to pour tons on money into this truck to get a few laughs.

So do you have to add weight to come in at 8200lbs?

i pulled the head and took it up to him $450. 00 to O-ring it, he sent my head out and cut 0. 008 off the true it up and the pulled the valves out and mag tested it for cracks so for me it was a little more but at least it is done.



studs i got from the states for about $450 CND funds.
