help with smarty tuner and edge cts monitor

I buoght a smarty junior tuner and an edge cts monitor. My plan is to set the smarty junior to the lowest setting and use the CTS to watch temps etc. My question is that, according to my understanding, both the CTS and smarty junior are capable of adjusting the speedometer for 35" tires. Should I use the smarty or the CTS to do this. In which order should I program it in. ie. the smarty for everything, the smarty for everything except the speedometer and use the CTS for the speedometer, or the CTS for the speed first, and then the junior for everything else. Thank you for your input.

I installed the CTS this year and adjusted the speed for my 35's. the CTS will show the corrected speed but the spedo will still show about 5 off at 60. I know nothing about the smarty. I have heard that there are a a few controlers that do change the dash speedo... . just dont remember which ones do.

The CTS won't adjust your speedo, just the readout on the CTS. The Smarty Jr will adjust your ECM so the speedo/odo will read correct. Use the Smarty Jr to make the adjustments.



Here is my rule of thumb for EGT's and the SJR.



TM1: 1400 max cont, 1450 momentary

TM2: 1300 max cont, 1350 momentary

TM3: 1350 max cont, 1400 momentary

TM4: 1250 max cont, 1300 momentary
