Looking to put stacks on my truck. Who sells them? Is there a kit you can buy? I have a hx40 with 4inch all the way back. I want 6inch slant cut stacks. Does anyone know how much a system like this will cost? It's a 99 1 ton lwb so I think I have enough room.

There are quite a few members that run stacks. I belive that "Racindullie" has a thread here about them. If I read the man right he will answer any questions you have about the install and prep. Good luck, Mike

pro68dodgedart I talked with Rob Thomas about some stacks awhile ago, he is a member gave me some valuable info on stacks and sent me photos as well, nice package. Give him a call or PM, thats all I got, Henry

There is a kit also of all piping from www.chromedepot.com they sell a kit from Grand Rock www.grpipes.com. It's a 4" system up through bed floor to 5" y piping and to 5" stacks. You can get the whole kit or just in bed kit. In bed kit and hook up for 4" is $271. 00 + shipping. Just an other option.

In reguards to the stacks- You'll need to retain that 4" down pipe and some of the straight section of the existing system, you make no mention of running a muffler or aeroturbine ect; or open, then you'll need a section of 4" flexxy pipe so when the frame twists and flexxes you won't tear up the stack piping under the bed, there is a couple of ways to do the stacks some guys just go with an 90* elbow thru the bed floor to a divider and then to more 90*elbow(s)-are you going single or duals? Some other guys don't want the divider and piping laying in the bed taking up space so they run the piping underneath- it is tricky but it can be done- look at catoiler's set-up on his truck pics looks pretty good from the bed... ... ...

Mark Kendrick also has a nice set-up going on too- I have info for oval piping and whatnot so if you have any other questions ask freely... ...

Re:stacks

Man they just look way to good not to have. But I may need some help putting them in or on. It's always nice to have someone thats done it before and a extra pair of hands. Some more pics would be nice too... ...

Thanks For All the help... .

Check my pics. Can't see the piping, but it is similar to RJ's truck. Not fully welded, but I used some 90's, flexpipe to the y-pipe on top of the bed.

It's a cool job that's not too hard to accomplish. Lay up underneath your truck and you'll see how much easier it is to use the divider iside the bed... ... . look over by the tank, it gets very tight there- I've heard of guys spacing down the tank a smidge for extra clearance, I've also heard of crushing the pipe by the tank for extra clearance also... it depends on how creative you want to get if you want no divider in the bed, it can be done.....

I second the LsFarm kit! Did mine thrusday evening before IRP. I spent more time packing crap for the trip than it took to install the stacks!

Thanks Greg!!
