Does someone have a current NHRA or IHRA rule book that they can tell me the general rules for nitrous system installation?

I just got the kit kit today, and I would like to hit the track tomorrow night if I can get this in.

Thanks, Lee

PS: this is for my mustang 5. 0, not my CTD, but I cant find the rules anywhere on online!

I believe if the NOS is in the cab it must be vented to the outside --other than that it will need to be secured down--I think that may be it---chris

Yeah, I know it has to be vented, just not sure how they want it... . I was just going to clamp a heater hose over the pop off valve and drop it through the floor..... I just don't know if that will pass tech.

Plus I have the line running under the car zip tied to the brake lines all the way to th box... not sure if thats cool either.

Oh well, either way, I have get the bottle filled at the track, if it does not pass, I'll play on the street.

Thanks, but still could use some info, if anyone has any to pass along.

I personaly do not use it on my race car but at the track i go to they want metal brackets, the loops. secured to the trunk floor.

The line under the car is fine although you could break the bank and get cushioned clamps at a hardware store;) . Remember to take timing out also.

Yup, timing is retarded to match jetting, I am all set to go, and the tank is in with the metal clamp/bracket stands, all a proffesional looking job, just don't know the details.
