5th wheel

I hooked up to my buddies trailer and everything seemed good at first except light did not work on the trailer. When i hit the brakes the brake box did exactly what it was supposed to. When i help the brake pedal down it suddenly got hard and the brake lights would not longer work. I checked under the hood and the fuse was blown. Does any one have the diagram to wire a 6 round connector male side. My buddy said that just the other day one of his employees unhooked the trailer and for got to take out the electrical plug. Today he tried to fix it as best as he could but to no avail he messed up and now my truck does not have brakes. Thanks for all the help. I will be headed to the dodge dealer to get a fuse tomorrow and i will pick up some spares as well. Any one know how much they might cost. i figure they cant be but so much. It it a 20 amp square fuse.

Why would the manual switch on the brake box work correctly but not the actual brake pedal. It seems like the brake pedal got really stiff and when i hit it no brake lights. When i hit the manual switch the brake lights com on fine. why is this? There has to be something wrong in the trailer wiring because with every other trailer i have hauled it has been fine.

TPruitt, depends on what you consider too much for fuses. I just bought 2 20 amp. blue square ones. $5. 35 total. About $2. 50 per fuse. The worst part is that the local parts stores didn't carry them so I had to go to the dealer.
