Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Help with TSB 09-07-96

I found this TSB which describes my oil leak. I went to Carson Dodge and ordered the bushing # 4874879 listed on their computer. But I don't think it comes with any type of installation tool. Has anyone performed this TSB and if so what are the procedures for getting the new bushing installed and the oil leak stopped?... ... ..... Thanks.

Its been a while since I've done one. The tool they describe is basically a device to hold the bushing so it can be backed out of the pump, then a larger replacement bushing will thread back in. . with no reducer "heli-coil" or bushing.



Seems like I have found a couple that the bushing came out when the flare fitting/nipple spun out.



I have one in inventory (your part #) if I can find it. Seems like several I bought came with the directions in the TSB but no removal "tool. "



Maybe ask John Holmes what the trick is. . Do you have a good Bosch shop, they may have the tool or specs on sizes to make one. .
