2014 3500, I replaced the actuator last december with a City Diesel unit... has worked great till last week when I could only get 8psi of boost and nearly zero braking... strange thing here is that I turned the ignition off and restarted and every thing was fine... 29psi and 80+ braking ... went about a week and ran great then Sat it did the same thing no boost/braking turn it off start back up gets me full boost/braking.... wondering if there is a sensor that might be going bad, it's not acting like it did when the 1st actuator went bad, I could not get it to reset... sounds more like an electronic problem instead of a mechanical vane stuck problem in the turbo... any ideas???

Check your wiring for loose connector. It works with truck computers. Install notes were very specific about being clean and dry on the install. Did you do complete coolant drain? I know about this as I did mine also in Dec. 22 Dec 23 to be exact. I drained, replaced hoses while there along with aluminum Y's on the 2 hoses. No issues on this end. Do you hear the self check before starting the truck? If not, sounds like wiring.
