Help!!!!

OK was at my neighbor's house... tammy's... the one with the 2 CTD. they have 24 valves and i have 12 valves.

me and her got in a nice fight... i thought i was winning but i didn't have any facts to back up what i was saying so i lost:{

but she was so hot... any way to the question... i need to win a fight against her next time. i need LOTS of reasons that the 12 valves are better then the 24 valves. i know you guys won't let me down!! (i need them by Saturday... she gonna be riding at cowtown)

Easy, tell her you can take her out to a LOT of dinners/evenings out with what you saved buying a 12 valve, plus you have fewer moving parts and the cool individual valve covers (gotta have style).

Probably not that helpfull, but it's what I came up with on short notice.

More dependable

You can tweak and tune to your liking- dont ahve to rely on a dumb computer

Cheaper... uh, I mean, less costly, upgrades

Better looks

Did I mention mechanical controls?

Lower compression ratio- less pressure on pistons.

12V is cheaper- converts to more entry fees and a double whammy is you save fuel which means more entries paid.

More bottom end torque.

12Vs SOUND better- they dont have that annoying rattle from the retarded timing.



I need her email address to set her straight, and see about bumming a ride to a few shows. Show her how REAL cowboys travel

Like the guys said, the big one for me is the mechanical injection. My computer got fried last year and I was still able to drive it 80 miles home -- granted the alternator wasn't charging and the gauges were whacked out, but it still ran just fine.



I had a '99 24 valver(the ex has it now) and it was a good truck, but I enjoy my 12 valve more!

well guys i went over her house to get some more cherries... . hehehehe well i was trying to not bring it up but her mom brought it up and the race was on. i was winning she had nothing to back up what she was saying. she didn't even know that she had a B-series cummins in her truck. but when she was at the end and was losing badly... she said someting like that we are too poor and that the only reason that we like these trucks is cause that is all we have. but i didn't forget about DKasper. now as a last resource she call us cheap, scared of computers and unwilling to except change! i never got to get to the fact that they sound better. i say that we get our pitch-forks and torches and run her out of the house and down the street in her wimpy 24 valve!! *smiles*

I think the kid is on target- stand up to her once in a while, but choose your battles wisely and win big. They need to be shown who's boss and put in their place once in a while. Also tell her I said I have better things to spend my money on- I can buy a good down payment on a house with the leftover from buying and fixing my rig. Hmmm..... Got $5K in it (includes purchase); 5 from 40 is $35K. Buy a lot of horses, tack, cattle, etc, etc, with that. And still have a better looking rig, to boot.

ok sorry it took so long... . well i tried to get a picture of tammy i really did!! but she's faster then me... so i didn't get one for you guys... . but i've think i've thought up a plain!! one of you guys sit on the side of the road with the truck running... . i snap the picture and dive in the back of the truck. *smiles*

but Dpuckett is right i'm after the younger girl... . got to stand up to her older sister (and pic on allyson a little)... i got to get a horse..... help me catch the calves at work and the girls "save a horse ride a cowboy" (do u think me being a cowboy helps????) but to sum it up me and girls are workin' like water a oil... . *frounds* i think i'm gonna stick with the COWS *smiles* they never hurt my feelings only my nerves LOL.
