just bought a 2003 dodge 3500 six speed. 132000 miles. Changed fuel filter sunday. Today it starts sputtering after about three or four hundred miles and now it will not start? could it be the high pressure pump or what going to check the filter now please help

I would check the lift pump on the side of the filter housing. sounds like it isn't pulling fuel to the cp3 pump. Should set a code but no light.

you read my mind i went out and checked it right after i posted on here and you are exactly right no fuel coming into the filter housing could i use a test light to see if i am getting power if so where would i plug test light into

there is power with the keyswitch on to the lift pump so i am going to try to get one first thing in the morning. Just started hauling FEMA trailers and do not want to look like the lazy one of the bunch but i guess stuff happens.
