Here is a copy of a thread i posted in the 24 engine and transmission forum under one thing after another.

I need all the help i can get, this truck is my only form of transportation... .

Ok, The check engine light come on about a week ago, read the codes found out it was a failure in the grid heater circuit, turned out to be the relays were worn out, after a quick rebuild on the relays i got them working again, Cleared the codes, check engine light still on, different codes this time though, now it is showing low voltages on boost sensor and intake air temperature sensor... I am at wits end guys, after running limp mode for over a week I am getting annoyed. I can't even pass someone easily anymore. any idea where i should go with my repairs next.

I am getting the following codes:

0237 - Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

0112 - Intake Air Temperature Circuit Low Input

well things have gone from bad to worse... . I am getting lights for cruise control (my truck doesn't have cruise), water in fuel (has been unhooked since the fass was installed last winter), check gauges, the temp gauge pegged and the heater wasn't even blowing hot air yet, the throtle position sensor has crapped out on me. I am not sure where to even start on this one guys.

i just read my codes again, this time i have a laundry list... .

intake air temp voltage low

boost pressure voltage low

pcm processor fault

thermostat voltage low

throttle position sensor voltage low

Check the grounds for the pcm and also the fuse connections for the alternator in the Power Distribution Center on the drivers fender. Also, check voltage after alternator fuse. At least a start.

not sure on the location of voltage, been blue cold out and i havn't had daylight to work with after work... . I will check ASAP

check some easy ones. disconnect the TPS. It has a 3 wire connector. One should have 5 volts on it. maybe check the MAP sensor too. The Intake Air Temp Sensor has only 2 wires, but if you dosconnect it, one will have 5 volts on it.

If they are reading low voltage, check for continuity to ground before replcaing the PCM. One of the 5V reference lines could be shorted.

I am not much on 24 valve engines but I did stay at a HIE last night.

Kissfan,If your familiar with a VOM check the voltages on each battery. Should read 12. 6 at rest unloaded after 24 hours sitting. I would suggest cleaning all the battery terminals real good. Simple things first. Grounds are very important and must disconnected to be cleaned properly. It does sound like a low voltage problem.

ECM appears to be dead... i checked all grounds and supply voltages, i am getting 12 volts in but my scan tool tells me the ecm is showing none in. Does anyone know where to get a new ECM without a major price.
