Has anyone found a good accessible spot to mount the Geno's Painless Wiring Kit on a 2004. 5 RAM Diesel 3500? Also I'm preparing to install the Westech boost and EGT System. Any heads up help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not a real mechanic so I don't understand a lot of technical terms.

@ differnt people have done write-ups on installing the kit on either end of the dashboard on the 3rd gens. When you open up the front doors, the end panel of the dash slips off and there is just enough space (with tiny modifications) to slip one in. It is a convenient location from which to do more wiring later, cuz it is easy to access.

Check out post #12 in this thread, but the whole thread is about the passenger side end panel location.

And here's a thread about mounting it on the drivers side end panel.

Some people also choose to mount it with velcro directly on top of the main fuse panel in the engine bay.

You might want to re-think the westach combo gauge. Mine started leaking boost pressure at anything over 20 psi. I called westach and they quoted me almost twice what I can buy a single boost gauge for repairs. I am thinking of trying to fix it myself, If I can, if not I will buy 2 separate gauges.

I am not saying the combo gauge is a bad product, just that when you have to repair or replace one side of the gauge it is more expensive than individual gauges.
