Tree hugging has it's benefits...

A little advice please

I'm looking for input on these vehichles... pros/ cons/ experiences. I pretty much have her convinced on getting a 2010 lease turn in. Money is tight. These would be all 4X4/ AWD

1. Ford Escape 4 cyl.

2. Toyota Rav 4

3. Jeep Liberty/ Dodge Nitro

Personally I'm pulling for the Liberty because it's the last conventional 4X4 and it's a bit substantial. She has 2 pre teen girls, so the back seat has to be decent, looking into the future...

Thanks!

I have owned 3 Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokees since the mid '90's and have had great luck with them. Don't know much about the Liberty though.

We had a Liberty before we got the Grand Cherokee, never had any major issues just had to replace a few window regulators under warranty, the back seat is kinda small and the vehicle itself wasn't comftorble for more then 2 hours. If she's just gonna use it around town then good choice , otherwise I'd consider something else. Ours was a 2006 though not the newer body style

Hey- easy does it!! I have always been 100000% MOPAR and under my Dad's influence she's always had GM stuff. I know the game has changed since Hyundai is now the new plymouth. It was hard enough to include the rav to be fair.
I am partial to the Jeep- I'd have her (and she'd love it) get into a Wrangler, but like the Durango it's just too expensive. For me I need to get under a vehicle to buy it. Check out how it's made. That's there the Liberty shines. it has a real transfer case for example. I'd like her to check a subaru but she had a bad experience a long time ago with a legacy. Wont hear it.
