Son in law asked what hemi meant and I was stuck for an answer. I am thinking it has something to do with the combustion chamber shape but I am not sure. Will some expert clue me in?
and every hemisphericial compustion chamber I have seen has the spark plug in the center, between the intake and exhaust valves. So a hemi has the spark plugs installed in the center of the valve covers.
