A friend of mine works at a ford dealership and he told me in 1992 that ford was putting a CAT in their trucks in 1994, so i am not worried about the cummins going anywhere
I dont know what engines were offered in what years, but I know a guy who drove a late 90's ford with factory installed Cat engine.
BS! you say? It was a Louisville, NOT an F-series. I think thats where people get misconstrued. You can tell real quick how educated a guy is when you hear these comments. Youve probly heard in the past that you could get a cummins in a ford. You bet. F650/750 both had the option, and I believe still do.
My father-in-law flaunted to me (he's a big GM guy) that '08 chevy's will have a Cat engine. I said Duh, its been that way for years! Where have you been?
