Here Goes!!!!

Well guys, I just dropped my truck off with Fred at Desert Diesel in PHX. . The new mods... . DTT Torque converter and valve body, trans rebuild with new cluthes etc... And to celebrate, a set of DD stage 2's. I almost cannot wait to pick it up... Ya'll have helped me out with the choice of the mods... . I have to second the fact that Bill K at DTT is a class act.

With 29000 miles on the truck, I could feel the stock torque converter slipping under accelleration.

I was soo impressed with the stage one injectors, I have to find out what the stage 2's are like. . I understand that they have more power and less smoke. . Nice.



Next thing I will need after towing to Daytona Beach and back to Las is a set of tires. . I am thinking a set of 285 BFG all terrain T/A

Anyone have these tires, how do they handle, ride, wear and how noisy??

Yea, I have BFG AT's there great. They ride nice,quiet I guess I really can't tell onacounta' the straight pipe I rotate them every oil change,I got 43,000 out of the last set. They get real good traction in the snow,not that it really matters to you,lucky dog. You'll love 'em.
