Just last night traded my 01 for an 09 3500 long bed. Single rear wheel. ST trim. Automatic. Bright silver.



My 01 started having a lot of problems and a looming transmission rebuild so decided it was time to get another one.



Got a good trade and rebates. . Lifetime/100,000 mile powertrain and 5 yr/100,000 mile bumper to bumper. Warranty. Will post a pic later. . On my blackberry now.

There is no such thing as bumper to bumper warranty... ... ... . that is just what salesman use. The top of the line would be a Max care from Dodge most will have a deduct but 0 deduct is available. No lifetime from Dodge either on the diesel. Hope you read all the small print

Louis, . yeah I am going to miss it too. It Was kind of a rarity to have the bronze on a 2-tone... Got some time to think of what I will do to personalize this. I saved my NW Custom Mudflaps. . the right one interferes with the exhaust. #@$%! Have a Set of Winter fronts ready for this, just gotta get a little cooler.



Hitch and wind deflector wont go on til close to next towing season. . about over up here. . getting colder and not as many days that are nice. Sucks. . Wanna TOW!!:{ Looking for a Super 5th hitch 20. 5K. I have the super rails, just need the hitch and the mounting plate.



The 6 speed Automatic. . (manual). . as it has the buttons to select what you want... I go on the freeway, get off the ramp,, select 5, and brake on,, select 4, it turns off the brake, shifts, then the brake comes on again. . in like 2 seconds. . This thing is GREAT!! I wanna TOW Something!!



Anyway. . had the Duraplate and fabric care protect done and the rubberized undercoating. . I de-bombed the and took all the stuff I wanted off the old truck today. . Put my 19. 5"s in the garage for the winter. . Truck has the venerable Michelin LTX-MS . . "E" tires. . Running some streets and freeway, I am seeing almost 16 MPG right now. . got almost 200 miles since I got it. . not bad mileage for a un-broke-in engine.

I saw the weight rating... if I had the 4:10, it is rated for 17,000... as it is right now, 14,000

The rating is for towing. . not GCVWR

None of the ratings are for over 17K. Even the Dually is less than the single wheel.

Why is there such a difference in tow rating from the 2500 to 3500 when the only difference is the overload springs?
