Here is a couple of things to know about installing a F.A.S.S. on a 2005

First off you will run out of fuel a little earlier(when gauge is still above the "E") and don't pull the fuel relay like it states in the instructions,cut the ground wire while you still have the tank out otherwise it sets a code.

Been there done that.

I installed one on a customers truck. I made sure the pickup was about a fingers width from the bottom of the tank.

It was on "E" for awhile before it ran out.

Mine is almost at the bottom but it is when you get the tank sloshing around it will run out for short bursts. It is not a real problem.

That would work,but the best flowing solution is a BIG pick-up tube.
