Comp Problems..

I was just told of this site to help with part numbers, manuals, etc... ... . Seems like all you do is sign up punch in you engin serial number and access to what you have is yours. If the site bites let me know... ... ... ..... lol. I have yet to try it.

Well I signed in, now I need to get the serial number of my motor so I can gain more info. Like I said if the site bites I will remove this posting.

Here is what I found out, well I should say the artical says:

Contractors can now link directly to quickserve. cummins.com to get 24/7 access to QuickServe Online, Cummins' reference for parts and service information. Simply key in your engine's serial number to access applicable parts catalogs, including exploded parts diagrams.

Other site features include service parts, engine data plate information, Cummins ReCon part number cross reference and related parts guide.

The site also contains operation and maintenance manuals, troubleshooting and repair manuals, service bulletins, shop manuals and temporary repair practices. And since the site is constantly updated, you'll have the right number or latest repair procedure. In addition, Cummins plans to provide customers with the ability to order parts through the website later this year.

I got this info from Equipment World, the July issue page 16. So in years to come this may become a great site, for now looks like it is geared towards the larger Cummins, but I have been able to find a lot of info about my ISB.

Maybe a little help on where I should post this? So that all will get the chance to see it. I only have it here.

well, i tried to create an account there, only to find my user name i wanted [nickleinonen] was taken... hmm... so i try to login but i can't remember a password though, so i go to the forget your password link and sure enough, it is my account there. i've completely forgot about this thing, and i've been registered there since 02... thanks for bringing it up again. :)

I've been trying to log in for two days now and I keep getting a message stating "your session has timed out or you are not authorized for this area of the site" ? I have no idea why I can't log in...

I am not having much luck either. Latest thing is I receive a blank page with a "No Target passed! " message at the top. Guess I will try again tomorrow. Dale

Tried again this morning even changing my login name but it still does not work for me. Probably a big waste of time anyway because I only have 150k miles on my 90 so it will not require any new parts for another million miles anyway. Dale
