I haven't heard of any failures of the TK shaft. Who has had one fail?

with a 1st gen, I wouldn't be worried about snapping an input shaft



and if you do, they're cheap and easy to replace

If your 5th gear falls off of the torque king shaft something was done incorrectly. I talked to Don at Quad and he said that he has only one fall off in all the years he has been making this kit. I believe he said it was a defect either in the shaft or the gear. Can't remember which one.
