Well I got my next Project Today Went to Oakdale Ca. to pick it up show's 40,000 run's sweet for a smallblock but I already have a 93 donor for it sitting ready to go Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

All right Oo. another Crew Cab soon to be converted to a CTD. Did you know that the 5. 9 CTD came out in 1984 and that Dodge quit the Crew Cabs in 1985. :{ I'd say they missed the boat. Oh well I'm just glad they got it in 1989. :)

Your reminds me of how my 84 CC looked when I first got it. Here's how it looked after the paint job. Or perhaps you like white better? The white one started out life as a 76 with a 440.

Sorry for the delay. Of course CTD did come in 250 models but your gasser springs won't be heavy enough. You could always change them out. Do you want/need a 4x4? It has been done on here but it's bit of work, but it's your truck. Personally I don't like the ride of 1st gen 4bys. Shadrach

Well I have everything to convert it over to 4x so I think that's the direction I am heading I did my last crew and with the right tool's it's fairly Easy and to Boot I have 2 very Top Notch mechanic's helping me so I have all my bases covered . Thank You for the info that's the same thing I was thinking also .

The early 89's had a problem with Frame torque and the frames cracked. The frames, I think was not heavy enough for the engine and thus the problem. You might want to check on that. Sounds like you are going to have some fun. Good luck with it.

No I am not worried about frame crack this is my second truck that I am building and the first 1 was the same yr frame I watch it closely but going to crossover steering really help's I know I am pushing myself but my goal is to have it on the road by Sept so we will see .
