oh my I love the paint job............

wow, I am in love with that red, white and blue paint job.

sweeeeeeeeeet... .

Go George W. Bush... ... ... ... ...

Where's Justin?

No offense Gene, but I would have thought that Justin would have beat you to the punch with a play by play (or in this case a pull by pull). He is like the paparazzo of the pullers... always filming and posting. I will bite my tongue now. :-laf

Congrats Mitchell. Nice paint.

Justin wasn't there, and he plays favorites-I love all the pullers, equally, lol.

On a bad note, I talked to a puller who was there tonight, he had several chains and binders stolen off his trailer as well as his winch.

Now I know somebody knows somebody who has this stuff. If it is returned to me or Mitchells, we will see that it goes back to the rightful owner, no questions asked.

Tisdale,

How did I know my name would be mentioned in this post.

Actually, I have been very busy lately working.

I would have been there, but we are working 7 days a week.

CONGRATS to Enterprise Engine!!

Looks like Dave has got his pulling rig dialed in for sure!

Scheids has their work cut out for them.

GENE:"LOVES ALL PULLERS" LOL!! :-laf :-laf

While the event is still fresh in everyone's mind we would like to hear all the pros and cons of the event.

Maybe start a little bit earlier so we can get all the classes in before the midnight cool air sets in. Also allow for the classes to build to the main event. Those modified trucks are awsome!! No sense in putting the best of the best out there right off the bat. I would have liked to have seen the Semi's and tractors pull, but it got too cold and late for October. (I didn't bring a heavy enough coat, my fault). We had a great time, and can't wait till next year.

Thanks for your comments. We are considering 2 days next year or doing 2 sessions. What do you guys think? If we go 2 days do you want the same classes both nights, or run gassers, tractors etc. on Friday and diesels and semis on Saturday? We could mix and match those classes as needed.

How many would like to see vendors set up displays?

What else would you like to see?

Here's a play by play.

We've been running the same internal parts in Dave's truck for the last 1 1/2 years. We have been focusing on the suspension and didn't upgrade the engine until 3 weeks ago.

The first week (Shelbyville, KY) with the "new" engine we actually lifted the deck of the block.

The second week (Wilmington, OH) we bent 5 rods and broke 1 which went through the side of the block.

The third week (Glenford,OH) we only lightly scuffed the pistons.

Now we're ready to try again- Jesup here we come.

That sounds like alot of work! Speaking of Jesup I can't wait to watch you guys in my backyard again. I heard it was invite only, is that true?

Yes, it's a lot of work, but that's our business. And we'd rather use our own trucks for R&D than our customers.

When I talked with Franklin Burch awhile back he told me he only wanted 8-9 trucks at the most. He suggested we invite the trucks that were the top in the points series, but that wouldn't be fair because not all the trucks pull in the points series. We decided to have pullers email us (anyone interested in pulling in Jesup and who could commit for both days). I'll try to get a list complied and post who will be pulling in Jesup.

If you guys can break that much and keep your chin's up then more power to you..... nice to see you don't let it get you down, BOTW the truck sounds much better from past runs..... outside looking in.

Jim

We can't complain about a few breaks, the old engine ran very consistently for 1 1/2 years. I guess that's what happens when you're experimenting with new parts and ideas.
