I posted the other day about the Red RC's Inj Pump has started leak and have decided that it is the o-ring between the pump body and the "head". It's only gettin' worse, so I might as well get in there and do something about it. Might even learn something. :-laf

So... Does anyone have the seal kit part number for these pumps(See sig)?

How about the "curved" box wrench for the three bolts that hold the pump to the Front cover? Snap-on? Can't build one, don't have a torch... Where to get one?

Also... I'm going to remove the pump and reseal it, so I would like to put the 3200 PRM spring in. Part # or just call PDR?

I would love to get everything from one place if possible... If so who?

If I do this there WILL be MANY photos taken for future reference and maybe a post about the R and R of these pumps. I will need some help(I'm sure), but I think I know where to go. :D

Thanks in advance!

I would say I'm only slightly ahead of you in the knowing what I'm doing when it comes to the VE but I'll share what I can. I just got a VE rebuild kit from an injection shop that just happens to be close to my work. The No. on the box is DGK 121. Price was $27. 00. It is gaskets and seals only. I was encouraged to also buy a new set of plunger return springs which I did for $42. 00. When I opened up the pump this weekend I found my problem on top so I didn't do the complete job. (I wasn't feelin it) But I will probably soon.

From what I've seen of it and what others here have shared, it is a very doable project if you just take your time and stay organized.

Thanks Rebel. I appreciate it. I'm going to make some calls about the kit and get one on it's way.

BTW. I have noticed a few folks with what appears to be a similar leak. Coincedence? Anything to do with the "new" fuel(ulsd) that is coming out? Just curious. If so, how do we know the new kits are o. k. to use?
