What's the story on the meeting? I would like to meet some of you guys so we can possibly get a VERY strong Texas group together.

Well some of them wanted to meet on the east side. I don't know of a place over there. Some of the guys over there need to speak up or we could just stay in Houston. They gripe about driving a little ways but they don't want to respond. Any ideas? If we meet on Sunday am the 29th of April that should be sufficient to let people plan. Met on Sat. last time. Let's see what happens! I think there is a Cracker Barrell on I-10 at Garth road. We usually meet at 7.

Okie-Why do we have to meet so early? how about at or after lunch? Next week can work for me, be out of town this one. Need to get key players out and decide upon several club issues. Set up a schedule and meeting place and time for every month so us working folks can schedule the time out of our busy lives, especially since the summer is upon us with vacations and all being planned. this would solve a lot of the hit and miss and would lend a lot more creditability to our chapter. What does everbody think? Sound Off!!

Lunch would be fine with me. Remember it will be hotter in the PM. 1 or 2 in the afternoon would be OK with me as it will let some of the crowd get away from the restaurant. Also I would suggest we stay closer to town especially if none of the people way out East say anything. The airtex exit would help out the people from out west without putting out the people from down here too much. We do need to set something so people may start planning.

From the comments I read on this thread, its good to see that ya'll are fired up!! I think that Sat @ 1:00 works best. The lunch crowd will have cleared out and we still a good part of the afternoon left to chat and meet new friends. I just called and spoke with the manager at the location on the East side of town,I-10 Garth road. He said that the time would be perfect the lunch crowd has cleared out and that there would be plenty of room for all of our trucks,he welcomed us with open arms,(he's gonna regret that later Ha Ha!)If there are no objections then I say lets do this! North has had their turn and South was last month, so East this time and next out West towards Katy. If there are no objections then I say lets do this! See everybody there!
