THE SKY IS FALLING!!! THE SKY IS FALLING!!!

Oh wait, it's just rain. It's been so long I forgot what it was like.

Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

I'm glad I got the lawn watered before it rained.

I hope they throw the book at the gal that started the Hayman fire. The last I heard she was facing 3 counts of Federal charges (5 yrs ea. ) and the local counties were looking into local charges.

#@$%! #@$%! #@$%!

Wish I could send some from Hilo. Supposedly the rainiest town in the USA. Anyway at least they were able to find the culprit. They should put her to work replanting trees every freaking day of her sentence. Is "freaking" ok?

It rained about 15 minutes down here in Castle Rock last night. It was a good rain just way to short. Heard that they got even less at the fire to the west but every little bit helps. The town is inundated with firemen (thank god) and you just want to walk up and say thank you to every one of them as you see them. Was in Walmart last night must have been about 30 of them in there looked like they just got back from there shift as they were black as coal picking up grub and other essentials. This morning the news said that terry barton faces 1,000,000 in fines and up to 55 years hope she gets the max and planting trees is to good for her make her watch videos of what goes on in burn unit at a hospital every day.

Fortuniately (sp), no one had died fighting the fires, ... yet.

There was a Nova program on PBS a couple of nights ago. According to the program, the hot shot fire fighters make $10 / hour.

You can have all the freagin rain you wan't. I swear since March it has done nothing but rain here. Some times twice a day.

Here in Phoenix we have . 13" of rain FOR THE YEAR:--)

We have a fire burning in Arizona that went from 400 acres to 50,000 in 4 hours. The west in in a drought of Biblical proportions.

It's the plauges (sp). First we had moths, now it's fire. I think it's time to let God's people go before this gets out of hand.

FYI, the Hayman fire south east of Denver has burned over 200 sq miles. That twice the size of Wash DC, which is 100 sq. miles.
