Its actually still the same way I got it. It gets started and drove about once a week. I keep it at a friends house since he has a huge garage (hes a TDR member). I wanted to concentrate on finishing up the truck (if there is such a thing as finishing) before I got too involved in the Challenger. Its something that is fine the way it is and then eventually I'll start toying with it. Also I got the bug to get a newer convertable, so I went down and ordered a 2002 Mustang GT convertable, the color I ordered is supposedly on hold? The reason I did this was due to a special deal between Ford and Union Pacific. I am getting a 29k car (its loaded) for about 25k. Can't beat that on a new car thats being ordered to your specs... ...
So honestly prolly won't do nuthing with it until next year, unless me and Dan put some heaters in his garage. But I have "envisioned" for it a stroked 360 and a 5 speed transmission kit (made for E bodies). Its currently a 318/904 car. And actually since I got the Mustang coming (5 Speed) I might leave it auto since the stang will satisfy my "need" for a stick. Also I am researching and reading about different possbilities I can do with the Challenger, to find out exactly what I want to do to it. It runs and drives great as it is. Yes a crate Hemis idea sounds nice, but committed to staying small block in this car. I would like to put a crate Hemi in a 69 RoadRunner someday... ... .
I'll try to clean it up and get some pics of the car, as well as pics of Dan's new 98 12v truck he got last friday.
