hate to burst anyone's bubble, but you don't HAVE to put your kid through college. You're choosing too, which is nice, but that's a burden YOU chose to have. I worked my tail off and put MYSELF through college with no one's help. I'm going back right now to do more, for ME, and again with no one's help.
There are programs out there for kids, there are loans available, heck the govn't will practically pay for all of it with military service. I get tired of parent's whining about how expensive college is, my parents are dirt poor and probably wouldn't have offered it if they had the money and I don't blame them. It's my future and I see it as an investment. I now have way more than they do and make more then they do... . the way the ball bounces I guess. The beauty of capitalism.
I bit off topic i guess since it doesn't relate to health care, but people whining about college ticks me off, it takes away from kids that actually earn it instead of having to it handed to them.
