Hey NW BOMBers,Mopar show/racing this weekend

I know this is real short notice,but I don't know how any of this got passed us. Yesterday,I went down to a local Dodge dealer and spotted a flyer for an all-Mopar classic car and truck show and 1/4mi racing at SIR(Seattle intl) speedway,for this Saturday Dec 2nd.
The flyer lists categories for stock and modified cars that want to race but didn't list any limitations for Mopar vehicles... so I called them today and asked if any Chrysler vehicle can run. The guy said "yeah,any Mopar",so I asked "even if it's a Dodge truck with a diesel?",he said "yeah".

It's still up in the air weather I'm going to stay here in Seattle or go to Montana for the long weekend,but I thought I'd let you guys know that the open drag racing event is there if you want to enter. I'll list the flyers' racing info/requirements below;

All cars entering in the drag racing competition must have seatbelts,good tires,and brakes acceptable for road use.
Helmets required only in cars running 13. 99 and quicker. Race entry is $25. 00 for one vehicle and driver,$12. 00 for each addtional
adult attending the event. Gates open at 8:00am,tech inspection starts at 8:00am,and time trials start at 9:30am. For info call SIR 1(253)631-1550

Hey Mike-

Thanks for the update, sounds like fun IF the weather doesn't rain. I am planning on being out of town on the OR coast - rain, wind and all and will have to miss the activities at S. I. R.

John and other NW BOMBer's who have ordered the new A-pillar mount that will fit with the tweeter - I just got a call from DIS, letting me know that my mount now won't ship until around the end of September #ad

Hey Terry, I received a call from D. I. S. stating the same date for the triple with tweeter. I guess we'll have to hurry up and wait. On the other hand, I have so many projects to complete it will probably take me until at least then to free up enough time to get to that project anyway.
