I recently added a PM3 adj. to my truck, I have been running it on level 5, and MY EGT's are not as high as i would have expected. they are running around 100F more than the truck did stock. the night I installed it I did a full throttle stomp from 60 to 100mph and they only hit 1150F max it was around 65F outside that night. since then I have run it loaded with 1200-1500lbs and to maintain 71mph up a steep grade,on level 3, I was running 19PSI of boost and the EGT's did not go above 1000F and it was about 70+ outside. I have a custom made cowl induction system and 4" stem to stern.

could my Egt's really be running this or do you think my Pyro is wrong. it is Preturbo and came from TST too.

That sounds about right to me Todd that's a little cooler than I see when running mine at level 2 (with 275 RV injectors too, which should be about what your level 5 is) and I just have the stock 3" with the muffler removed and stock intake.

thanks for the reply Steve, after talking with others i was begining to think i had a misreading Pyro or something. i was really suprised to see the temps stay so low, after talking and hearing from others i had it in my head that it would raise them too high to use it for pulling, but that isnt the case it was well into the normal range throughout our trip, and we ran between 75 and 80 the hole time.

with several hills that have beat me up and taken my lunch money before, it never saw more than 1000F #ad
