First, let me say that I had a spare 0-30 psi liquid filled gauge with 1/4" npt end. I decided to try to fit this to the test port on the side of the injector pump. I know, I should have bought Briar's ready made kit, but I am too cheap and had to try this first. I fitted the gauge to a 36" length of clear 3/8" tubing and secured a 1/8" npt female brass fitting on the other end. Why did I think this would work? I took the black plastic cap off my test port and my rig will not thread on. What size is the test port? What, additionally, will I need to make this work? Is there a valve core or something that needs to come out before I can test my fuel pressure?

You all have got me paranoid about the lift pump and I want to make sure mine is doing what it is supposed to.

Any other advice is welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

David

If you had a set of rays banjo bolts it'd fit.

Briar sent me the wrong one. . I'll get the new one this week. send him an email and he'll send you the right fitting for a few $$.
