Thank You Ray, I ordered mine this after noon and will be installing a new lift pump when they arrive. By the way Guy's the part number on the new pump from Cummins has changed from 3938435 to 3990105 and was manufactured in may of 2001, it is a carter pump and I had to order the pig tail wire harness seperately. this is for a 99 dont know if there the same for later rigs

Got my bolts!

Nice job, Ray. I especially like the extended head on the tapped bolt to get an adequate depth of thread. No burrs. Is that a CNC screw machine you used to make these bolts?

The bolts look good Ray. I have one tapped bolt installed at the injector pump. The pressure readings changed from what I was getting at the fuel filter housing, especially at WOT. At the housing I would see a low of 4 psi at continuous WOT. Now I'm reading 1 psi at WOT. Don't know what to make of that. The truck is running fine, so I'll monitor it and keep all informed.

Well I got my Banjos and installed a new lift pump with them. I did'nt install the one for the injector pump, because I couldnt get the thing to tighten up Original bolt has 3 & 1/2 less threads. Do I need to cut it or send for a shorter one. I've also recorded pump presures.

Idle now !2 on in side Was 12 w/ old pump 67000 miles

WOT is 9-10 on the in let - same as before also

I guess the bigger holes makes less preasure

I'll swap preasure gauge to outlet side this evening and post readings. Going take a ride first see ya
