Just bought a "new" 2003 and I'm very pleased with this truck. Just wanted to introduce myself and ask a few questions if I could.

If I have an HO 6spd 2500 would that mean I have a Dana 80 rear diff and a 60 front?

What are some popular aftermarket goodies?

Is there a power module/box that can be easily removed for service that won't bring up any fault codes?



There is a part of me that misses my ol' faithful 99 CTD but I think I'm getting over it.

You truck doesn't have dana axles anymore, they are american axles now.

Welcome. As already stated, American Axle is now the supplier. From the sound of it, the limited slip is better than the Dana. (This is my first LS, so it's nota first-hand comparison) I've been really impressed with it and glad I got it.

Rocket - welcome! Congrats on your new truck, you'll love it. As for boxes you can remove for service, most folks here would probably say just do the service yourself and leave the box there =]
