hid headlights

anybody have experince with any of these 03,2003 ram dodge hid items on eBay.com sure is a big price difference in them not real sure

i just converted my 06 both the headlights and fog lights . i have an 03 and i know that there are differences in wiring, but i think what i learned on the 06 will help you , there is another thread on this site that is going to save me a lot of experimenting to get the dual beam . the lamp out feature on the 03 is different than 06 but it will give you problems also . it is best to power them with a relay from a switch on the dash and not use the headlight switch or wiring just use a 30 amp fuse off of the battery right now i only have low beam my 06 has only one bulb with out going outside to look i think my 03 has two 1006's per side for high and low beam if this is the case you will need two kits,relays, fusees and switches. replace the fog and make it three kits you can use the truck wiring for the fog this also gives you the option to use any combination of lights including all at once. i tried 4,300*K 6,000"K and 8,000"k bulbs for me the 6,000 gave the best clarity. i did not have any problems reaming them. i took another 06 to the shop and parked 100 feet away and shined the lights on the door and marked the bright spot of each , connected to my 5th wheel with the hid and parked in the same place and adjusted to bring the beam down to the same spot

Is it best, or the easiest? Nothing like hacking up a new truck!!





What you are doing is a danger to everybody else on the road and the wrong way.



The only safe way to have HID is a oem projector out of another vehicle.

I have been running HID's four three years, just don't run ballast power through stock switch.
