i was wondering if anyone has used http://www.misterjung.com/ for there non-sport 2000 ram? i was just wondering since my truck doesn't have the slear headlight lenses how will this effect the light? i tried e-mail this guy at that web site and they never answer my e-mails so i figured someone here has done it. I know i would have to pic the 9004 system off their web site but still wondering if the "factory style" lenes will direct the HID lighting badly

thanks

PaulG You might be better off going the sport headlight route first. W/O the sports, you'll loose the High beam with a HID setup. If the sport lights aren't enough improvement, you could then go the HID route... WITH Hight beam available.

Actually they show the H4 dual beam setup as well, but for $100 more. In another year, or three, it will get cheap enough for me to have HID lights! lol.

Paul, There are several members runing HID's. The reason (And you have them) for the sport headlamps is the clear lens and a different refractor inside the headlamp bucket. Plus you need the quad lamps so you have a high and low beam whereas the Non sports guys only would have low beam after the convert. Catz if memory serves me right is the brand of choice?

EDIT:

In fact HID by CATZ

Ialways thought the stock lights on the Dodge Ram trucks were marginal at best. I struggled with them for years before I hit on the right combination. I tried three or four different brands, Sylvania's silver stars, GE 9004HO, and even some API super somethings, they all did little to shed some new light. Another problem I was having was condensation building up in the lens. This would refract light as well as dull the reflectors. I got tired of the whole mess and removed the OEM headlights, mountings and corner lights, threw them in the garbage and installed some after market crystal clear headlights along with Piaa Star White 9004 lamps. I also drilled two weep holes in the bottom corner of the head lights. Since the install no more water in the head lights and I can finally see at night. I also purchased a Summit 9004 wiring harness kit (part # SUM-890030). It simply plugs in to the factory harness, by removing the power connection at the head lights and plugging it into the new harness, when plugging the new harness into the head light. You then mount two 30A relays and make one positive (+) and one negative (-) connection, none. Now the head lights get full voltage straight from the battery and the issue of the small factory wiring is replaced with #10 wire, very simple.

I love the new lights, they are great.
