Just purchased HID headlights and having trouble getting them to work. All connectors match up but no power. When i use a voltmeter i get negative 12 at the factory headlight connector,i think thats my problem and if so what do i need to do? thanks for the help

i think the factory system sends constant power to the light and switches it on with the ground, at that point wire it up as such and let the ground be the switched side keeping polarity on the appropriate sides, or wire up a relay on each side of the truck (the way most of us do to get the most power to the stock lights as possible and take the load off the fragile switch) and have the truck wiring trigger the relay
